With valentine day only a few days away, have you made any plans? It one of those holiday where you either go head over heel with it or ignored it complete. I myself planning to have a quiet meal with my fella at my favorite resturant zizzi or failing that a home cooked meal will do me.
Ayway Miss Selfridges have done a valentine collection:
Temptation is red! Check out this special collection and spice up valentine day – even if you don’t have a date go and dress up and be dazzling!!
ANNA VS. LILY
Alexander McQueen’s reptilian-meets-sci-fi print mini dress has been the red carpet choice for 2 leading ladies of late. True Blood’s Anna Paquin went with the plunge-neck option at Saturday night’s Screen Actors Guild awards teamed with gold accessories and expertly coiffed tresses. While model, actress and academic Lily Cole broke out her more-modest McQueen at the Japanese Dr Parnassus premiere opting for the long-sleeved version of the mini.
KIMBERLY VS. CARRIE
Just days after Williams-Paisley wore her Alberto Makali gown to support her husband Brad Paisley when he cohosted the Country Music Awards in Nashville, Paisley’s cohost Underwood wore a version of the vibrantly printed gown to perform on Late Night with Conan O’Brien
Anyone who know me, know that i really really want a litle bunny rabbit. But as i rent a flat and my landlady put a ban on pets – no pets allowed, i cannot tell you how fustrating it is! I love the floppy ears, the wiggle from the nose, it general adorable cuteness of all things bunny rabbit. I brought posters, socks and toys bunnies just so i can have a general closure (is that the right word) about my banned. I suppose i could move – but that a lot of hassle, even then i could find out the next landlord got a banned on pets.
So instead i surf bunny picture and i shall leave you with a video i came across that made me smile all day:
I always seem to be more interested in the couture collection rather than the ready to wear show. I suppose it my love for anything old (haute couture ain’t new fashion baby) and can have a feeling of taking you back to a certain past era, the elaborated fashion style and the attention to detail is one of the kind.
Anyway here my prize to my favorite couture designs:
For the clothes it Dior:
Why did i choose Dior? The attention to details, the big ball gown, the make-up, the hair and the list could go on. I can’t pick one single outfits i singular like. It has a fairy tale epic themes on the whole collection, it stunningly beautiful.
For the hair:
I had to pick Chanel for the best hair style, i love it! It’s so girly and feminine! A heart shape hair style that decorated in gorgeous hair clips. My boyfriend reckon they just look like Minnie Mouse ears.
For the werid:
Alexis Mabillie Collection look a little werid, it remind me of the 90’s batman film with the villian Two face. I’m sorry this isn’t for me.
I could go on but i be here forever…i know i will never wear the clothes, but i do dream one day i be at the show.
The moment someone say to you ‘oh you would look cute with some bangs* in your hair’, is the moment you start to notice how everyone got bangs – and you want one! So this morning i did just that. I’m pleased with the result and it kinda make me look Anne Hataway from The Devil Wear Prada.
So anyway i fulfilled one of my new year resolution – do something with my hair!!
