When Nick Cannon proposed to Mariah Carey in 2008 by hiding her engagement ring inside a real Ring Pop wrapper, he probably had no idea that he would be giving execs at Elizabeth Arden an idea for their next Mariah Carey fragrance line.

Also, Mariah has a song on her latest album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel called “Candy Bling,” and she received a diamond-studded Ring Pop from husband Nick Cannon for the couple’s second wedding anniversary.

EA unveiled the “Lollipop Bling” line which includes three candy flavored scents (”Ribbon” “Honey” and “Mine Again”) each named after one of the pop divas tunes.

Starting July 1st, you can get a whiff of the Topp’s candy Elizabeth Arden perfume collaboration at at Macy’s and Dillards. And if that’s not enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, each purchase comes complete with a Ring Pop. A 1.5 oz three scent sampler sells for just $1.50.

It often the case when we look in the mirror, we don’t like what we see – we want to be taller, skinnier or just want to simply change your hair colour. In this day and age if we don’t like something we can change it and that apply to aspect of our appearance. Take for instance Dita Von Teese, she take inspiration for her personal style from people such as Luisa Casati and 40s Hollywood starlet, she dyed her natural blonde hair to black to look like these starlet. The actress Eva Green is guilty of this as well.
Hair dyed can be traced back as far as ancient Egyptians and the use of henna hair dyed, which is still used today. In medieval time it was consider witchcraft to have red hair and woman would frantically change their hair colour using all weird and wonderful method It evidence throughout history we knew even then we was worth it.
In 20th century pop culture we have seen hair colouring making a bold statement about an individual person especially in the punk era in the 70s. Pop stars would often use hair colouring as a way to get people attention; Christina Aguilera and Madonna are evidence in this and can be seen in numbers of photos and videos.
While changing your hair colour could get people attention, often you can give off the wrong kind of attention. Too bold and bright and you forever be compared to Rainbow Bright or Barbie on drugs, often with hair dyed you need the right colour to make it look natural and know your skin tone and what will work for you.
So what do you fancy? You could be blonde and make all the boys wink? How about pink and be candy floss? You could be a mysterious black hair colour and fade into the background of a night sky? Now we live in a world where we can wake up one morning pop alone to your local chemist or hairdresser and change your hair, it no difference to choosing your clothes every morning.

Dear Santa.

I been a good girl this year.

This year i have studied and worked really hard. I got myself into university this year and i been really stressed about my job this year – what with the event of what happen the end of last year.

I think i deserve a little little treat this year – nothing major – just something small.

Santa, look at all the pretty colours, gingerbread, red velvet cake and double rich hot choco to name a few.

Please put this under my fibre optic christmas tree and i shall reward you with mulled wine and mince pie, you can’t get much better than that.

New categories: Beauty and Heath – so keep an eyes out for blog entries on anything concerning the wonderful world of cosmetics and being healthy.

I was told in late September that one of my favorite make-up company are closing down.

Be Never Too Busy To be Beautiful (in short – it simply Be Never) was closing down at the end of the year.

This is upsetting news and i admit i do not approved! For those who have never heard of it – it a joint venture between Lush Cosmetic, it sells make-up, bath bomb and perfume. What set it apart for other company that it made all natural and ethical, you go into a shop and instantly you feel like you stepped into a Aladdin lamp – i can’t really described it.

So after Christmas it bye bye bnever. Lush Cosmetic has said it will absorbed some of the products but i personally will missed the helpful staff and the wonderful make-up.

Oh well..i guess i will just order everything i can online and stock up.
