Last night was the annual academy award, those i was disspointed the lovely the Carey Milligan didn’t win an award, i was still really pleased for Sandra bullock and i couldn’t think of a better revenge move than James Cameron ex-wife winning both best director and best picture! Avater only took a small fraction of visual effect award home.

Anyway moving on, rather than showing the ususal best and worst gowns, do you want to see how it looked on the model before it hit the red carpet?

Carey Mulligan win a Bafta

You might remember me posting about the film An Education staring the very lovely Carey Mulligan. Last night she won an award at the Bafta for leading actress. Yay last night i was really rooting for her.

Anyway if like me you never got the chance to catch the film in cinema, pre-order it on the Amazon website. Released date for the dvd is 8th March.

While browsing on On IMDB i came across this charming little film.

For a starter it has Alfred Molina ( the bad guy in spider-man 2) and the character from a Doctor Who episode Carey Mulligan and oh it set in my favorite era: the 60s.

A coming-of-age story about a teenage girl in 1960s suburban London, and how her life changes with the arrival of a playboy nearly twice her age.
